SIGNATURE SHADE BACK ON THE F1 GRID

Herald Sun - Motoring - - PRESTIGE -

WHEN McLaren’s Kiwi founder wanted his team’s Formula One cars to stand out from the pack back in 1968, he chose orange. The colour was kept only until 1971, the year after the talented Bruce McLaren was killed in a testing crash in Britain, yet it became the hue most associated with the brand name. Orange has been re-adopted for McLaren’s 2017 season MCL32 Formula One cars.
