Honda has joined the growing push to five-year warranties in Australia. Its whole range has new coverage of five years/ unlimited kilometres. But there is still no movement on sub-par service intervals of just 12 months/10,000km.
“VIP 2020” is the new battle cry at Hyundai, which is measuring local success in terms of volume, innovation and profit. The company has used many other slogans, stretching back to the 1990s when “GT10” reflected its ambition to become a global top 10 car brand by sales volume.
Skoda’s hottest model, the Octavia RS 245 wagon, will become a permanent member of the Czech brand’s line-up when it returns in the third quarter. It comes with 180kW and a mechanical limited-slip differential and is part of a plan to elevate Skoda as a wagon brand in Australia.
