The E-Pace, the second of Jaguar’s all-new SUVs and smaller sibling of the F-Pace, is rolling into showrooms, priced from $47,750 with all-wheel drive and a nine-speed auto. It’s built on a new lightweight architecture that will be used for the next Range Rover Evoque.
BARGAIN OF THE WEEK
When Holden pre-registered hundreds of Astras in December, it created a bargain package that is still running — 2017-plated models are from $19,990 drive-away. The deal is for the R+ auto hatch and LS+ auto sedan and includes a five-year warranty and three years of free scheduled servicing.
A flat battery used to mean dragging out the jumper leads — now there are Projecta’s lithium-ion powered Jump Starters. Priced from about $290, they have in-built safety checks and can charge mobile phones and other devices.
