Historic age of bluestone
ONE of the oldest and longestheld homes in Melbourne is on the market.
The historic farmhouse at 74 Robert St, Lalor, was built about 1850 and has been owned by the Wuchatsch family for 165 years.
The bluestone house, built in the traditional German farmhouse style, with five interconnecting rooms, sits on 7595sq m on the banks of Edgars Creek.
The property also has three other bluestone buildings, the stables, milking shed and dairy, connected by cobblestone paths and dry stone walls.
Love Real Estate, Epping, director Jim Kalakias is taking offers until December 15, with price expectations of $1.1 million-plus.
