He’s making news with sale
HAVING just covered the Oscars, entertainment reporter, author and former Australian of the Year John Caldwell has listed his gorgeous Prahran home for auction.
A man of many talents, Caldwell is chief executive of retail recruitment business RWR Group, a Brodie’s Law Foundation board member, KIIS FM entertainment reporter and was the 2014 Australian of the Year in Victoria.
His elegant Victorian home at 126 Williams Rd is on the market after a brilliant renovation by Baxter Creative, finished with a luxurious new living and dining domain.
The threebedroom home comes with Calacatta marble kitchen benchtops, Miele appliances and a sleek outdoor setting complete with a fireplace and built-in barbecue.
Jellis Craig’s Mark Robertson is taking the home to auction on March 19, with price hopes of $2 million-plus. EASTER is around the corner and with it comes the Good Friday Appeal Charity Home Auction.
This year Henley and Villawood Properties have donated a new four-bedroom home at Lot 931 Oleander Pde in Mickleham’s Trillium estate.
It will be auctioned on March 25, marking the 37th home sold for the appeal.
All proceeds go straight to the appeal, raising money for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Built by Henley, the boutique residence has multiple living zones, designer finishes like a butler’s pantry and Jetmaster gas fireplace, and ample space for the family.
On the day there will be free entertainment, a sausage sizzle and guests from Channel 7.
