Gaby’s luxurious comeback
A STYLISH Toorak penthouse has hit the market as the comeback project of developer Gaby Tomkin.
Ms Tomkin directed much of the multi-million dollar apartment renovation project from Washington DC where she and her two daughters were receiving treatment for debilitating fatigue and muscle pain cause by Lyme disease.
Ms Tomkin, wife of former St Kilda football club director and lawyer John Gdanski, recently returned from the US to see the finished penthouse that occupies the top two floors of 16 Woorigoleen Rd.
The penthouse, which originally belonged to the Smorgon family, boasts spectacular 360 degree views.
It features open-plan living, a state-of-the-art kitchen with Miele appliances, formal and informal dining zones, four bathrooms and a two-car garage. An outdoor entertaining area with outdoor kitchen, a media room and floor heating are also highlights.
The penthouse is being quoted at $3.9 million-plus, with Kay & Burton’s Darren Lewenberg accepting expressions of interest until April 21.
