Featherbrook one-day sale
THE Aussie dream of an affordable house with a backyard is still alive in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
The Featherbrook estate, in Point Cook, is offering house and land packages starting from $379,000 in a one-day sale today.
Up to 20 “smart lots” are available for sale, ranging from 235sq m to 480sq m and land prices from $229,000 to $409,000.
The lots are located close to the town centre, and just minutes away from Point Cook Coastal Park.
Families are well placed with nearby schools such as Suzanne Cory High School, Point Cook Secondary College and Westbourne Grammar, as well as a P-9 school under construction in the Featherbrook precinct.
The Featherbrook Shopping Centre is another bonus, with a Woolworths supermarket, cafes and specialty shops.
Central Equity Land marketing manager Jeremy Vile said a variety of buyers had shown interest in the project.
“Featherbrook attracts a real mix of buyers, including first home buyers, empty nesters, young families and investors,” Mr Vile said.
He said the “smart lots” offered at today’s sale would appeal to owner occupiers and investors looking for excellent amenity and value.
Buyers have their choice of single and double-storey homes, with three and fourbedroom configurations.
Builders to choose from include Simonds, Carlisle, True Value and Mimosa, which are featured at the display village.
Other builders, including Metricon, Burbank and Porter Davis., have also packaged up homes with the project.
Today’s “smart lots” sale runs from 10am to 5pm at the sales office, located at 275 Sneydes Rd, Point Cook.
