LONG distance runner Eloise Wellings represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and has qualified for this year’s 2016 Games in Rio. She is also the founding director of the Love Mercy Foundation, which raises money for impoverished communities in northern Uganda. The 33-year-old lives in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire with her photographer and filmmaker husband, Jonathan Wellings, and their three-year-old daughter, India. I really love cooking, although I am not sure how good I am at it. But it is a really enjoyable way to relax.

I love lamb shanks that have been slowly roasted with apricots to add some sweetness, and some Moroccan flavours.

Being with my husband and daughter. It’s that simple. I travel so much, so home is where they are.
