LEADING boxing promoter Brian Amatruda is selling

his knockout Mornington Peninsula beach house.

The managing director of Big Time Boxing (pictured with

Anthony Mundine) built 161-163 Ocean Drive, St Andrews Beach, about eight years ago. He’s now selling privately through Kay & Burton, Portsea, director Liz Jensen, who said buyer interest was around $4.5 million.

CoreLogic records show the 2678sq m site overlooking Bass Strait

sold for $532,000 in 2001. Mr Amatruda’s contemporary architect-designed residence features four bedrooms, a large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a games room.

A pool, deck, pergola and lush greenery complete the grounds, which back directly onto the beach.

Ms Jensen, who regularly inks seven-figure sales in nearby Portsea, said the house boasted “the best ocean setting” she’d seen.
