THE first season of Gladiators premiered on Channel 7 in 1995 and proved a ratings hit.

The new season, to be cohosted by Tom Williams and Zoe Naylor, is banking on audiences having a renewed hunger for athletes showcasing their strength and skill in a range of physical challenges.

The Gladiators must work together as a team to defeat The Challengers. Each show takes four Challengers through four games. There are 13 possible games for the Challengers to face.

After squaring off against the Gladiators, and trying to earn points along the way, the Challengers then face off against each other for a gruelling Eliminator race. This offers the final chance for the Challengers to proceed to the next round.

Two winners will share in $100,000 and two all-wheeldrive Subaru Foresters.
