EX­UD­ING more con­fi­dence than Bond, Michael (Jef­frey Dono­van, left) learns the hard way that he may not be as good as his new han­dler. Carla shows she can get to Michael’s loved ones with rel­a­tive ease, forc­ing him to lift his game. Their re­la­tion­ship is sim­i­lar to that of Lin­coln, Michael and Susan in only with more laughs. On the home front, Made­line in­sists Michael at­tend a coun­selling ses­sion with her, lead­ing to some great scenes as they try to re­pair their re­la­tion­ship. Prison Break, IT WAS only a mat­ter of time be­fore Dex­ter’s two worlds col­lided. Af­ter de­cid­ing to kill peo­ple smug­glers Jorge and Va­lerie Castillo, Dex­ter is called out to ex­am­ine his own crime scene. The Ice Truck Killer has left a sur­prise for Dex­ter— he’s re­turned Va­lerie’s body to the scene. This takes Dex­ter and the Ice Truck Killer’s sadis­tic but en­thralling game to a new level. The nar­ra­tion can be frus­trat­ing, but the se­ries con­tin­ues to work thanks to star Michael C. Hall, who makes it dif­fi­cult not to cham­pion Dex­ter’s cause. BRAD and An­gelina and Jay-Z and Bey­once all ap­pear this week, but it’s more like some­thing from Madame Tus­saud’s than a Hol­ly­wood red car­pet as the mod­els are trans­formed for their photo shoot. The judges are im­pressed with most of the re­sults, though Twiggy shows her lack of rel­e­vance by ask­ing who Jay-Z is. Thank­fully, the wo­man Twiggy re­placed, Jan­ice Dick­in­son, is back to liven up pro­ceed­ings. Dick­in­son poses on the red car­pet to test the girls’ in­ter­view­ing skills. AT 20, Tully boxer Paul Flem­ing shows a level of ma­tu­rity that would sug­gest he’s com­peted at Olympic level be­fore. Pur­su­ing his love of the sport and mak­ing his de­but at the Olympics has come at a cost for the con­fi­dent but grounded Flem­ing, who tells of his ex­pe­ri­ences in this profile piece. Forced to leave Tully to pur­sue his dream, Flem­ing’s quest for gold has meant not see­ing his fam­ily for more than a year. It’s all he’s ever wanted, but you sense that if Flem­ing doesn’t win a medal, it won’t mat­ter too much be­cause the love of his fam­ily is prize enough.
