Last Wed­nes­day night’s rat­ings— Barack Obama’s his­toric US elec­tion win led all the bul­letins— shows just how far Nine’s news crown has slipped. In Mel­bourne ABC News rated high­est with 426,000 view­ers. Seven had 422,000 and Nine was a dis­tant third on 373,000. Nine was third na­tion­ally as well with 1.21 mil­lion view­ers (Seven had 1.60 mil­lion and the ABC 1.25 mil­lion).
