has also learned it for 15 years. Occasionally, when I go to her place, I might have a little play. I learned to play a musical The Glass Slipper. It starred Michael Wilding and Leslie Caron and my girlfriend and I, we loved it. I was so enamoured with Michael Wilding at the time and it had such a great tune in it that I got the sheet music and learned to play it.
What’s your favourite musical?
I can’t tell you about the one I haven’t finished, but the one I can tell you about is about eye health. It’s a different area for me. I’m patron of the Macular Degeneration Foundation, which (macular degeneration) is the leading cause of vision impairment in Australia. My father suffered from it.
You are a great advocate for people looking after themselves and their health. Have you long felt inclined to promote this?
