has also learned it for 15 years. Oc­ca­sion­ally, when I go to her place, I might have a lit­tle play. I learned to play a mu­si­cal The Glass Slip­per. It starred Michael Wild­ing and Les­lie Caron and my girl­friend and I, we loved it. I was so en­am­oured with Michael Wild­ing at the time and it had such a great tune in it that I got the sheet mu­sic and learned to play it.

What’s your favourite mu­si­cal?

I can’t tell you about the one I haven’t fin­ished, but the one I can tell you about is about eye health. It’s a dif­fer­ent area for me. I’m pa­tron of the Mac­u­lar De­gen­er­a­tion Foun­da­tion, which (mac­u­lar de­gen­er­a­tion) is the lead­ing cause of vi­sion im­pair­ment in Aus­tralia. My fa­ther suf­fered from it.

You are a great ad­vo­cate for peo­ple looking af­ter them­selves and their health. Have you long felt in­clined to pro­mote this?
