DUSTIN NOT GIVING UP ON DREAM
DUSTIN Clare spent a year trying to hit the big time in Hollywood, but so far has had little luck.
He has returned to Australia better for the experience and determined to give the US another shot.
‘‘I spent 12 months in the US and the writers’ strike really ground me to a halt,’’ the Logie Award-winning actor says. ‘‘Auditioning is so different in the US. It’s very cold and clinical. You have a casting agent who has seen 150 people . . . they don’t look at you.’’
Clare hopes to create an acting profile here and the US.
‘‘I’ll always be going back and forth,’’ he says.
