NOT PROUD OF THE PAST

Herald Sun - Switched On - - News -

HAVING struggled with drugs in the past, Jason Donovan doesn’t condemn stars who endure problems with illicit substances.

‘‘People likeme . . . aren’t politicians,’’ he says.

‘‘Drugs aren’t good, though, and they’re not something I’m proud of.’’

Donovan recently released an album, Let It Be Me.

In March, Andrew Lloyd Webber will stage a production of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert at London’s Palace Theatre. Donovan will play Tick, the role made famous by Hugo Weaving in the Priscilla movie.
