★★★★★ This Danish establishment is, quite simply, the best restaurant on earth — a rating it has maintained for a couple of years now. It’s a staggering place — simple but very beautiful, perched beside Copenhagen’s harbour. Noma’s secret weapon is chef Rene Redzepi, a driven Dane, affable and charming, but also, as this documentary demonstrates, capable of the sort of rage for which chefs are noted. Brilliant.

ABC1, 8.30pm

★★★★★ Barrister Cleaver Greene (Richard Roxburgh) becomes more appealing by the episode. Watching his life unravel is like watching a car crash in slow motion. Tonight he disgraces himself at an art opening, achieves dubious court victories and comes unstuck over his shabbiest recent piece of philandering. The brilliant Noah Taylor features as a piece of street filth called Stanley Shrimpton.
