★★★★ IF SIZE matters most, this tiny BlackBerry will appeal. The Pearl 3G is RIM’s slimmest smartphone to date at just 10cm high, 5cm wide and weighing a tiny 93g. This phone could sit comfortably in a shirt pocket. Despite its size, the new Pearl offers 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, has a 3.2-megapixel camera, and runs its apps using a 624MHz processor. The two-lettersper-key layout of its keyboard may be a dealbreaker for some, but those who adjust can save space.
