★★★ IT’S THE company’s top-ofthe-range smartphone and its top feature is obvious: a 12-megapixel camera. That camera has a high-quality Carl Zeiss lens that juts out from the back of the phone and produces images worthy of printing. It also comes with a flash, ability to capture 720p HD video and an HDMI port for a TV connection. The N8’s 3.5-inch AMOLED screen shows off new Symbian3 software but it is still old-school and lacks its rivals’ smarts.
