SEND YOUR QUESTIONS TO TECHSPERT@NEWS.COM.AU Q. I recently bought a desktop computer with Windows 7 Home Premium. Windows Media Player 12 comes with it, but I cannot find an option to rip a CD in its menus. I have tried every possible setting and asked many people, but no one can help me. I want to use this program to rip CDs on tomyhard drive. Can you please advise how to do this? A. This option is available in Media Player 12, but it might have been hiding from view. To add music to your computer, insert the CD into your optical drive. Open Media Player if it does not open automatically and then enter Library View. You can do this by selecting the icon in the top right corner of the screen and selecting Go To Library. It should then list the CD’s tracks. Select the songs you wish to add to your PC and choose the Rip CD option from the menu above.
