★★★ For those alarmed at the prospect of Sarah Palin being elected to the most powerful office on earth, little comfort is to be found here. However dim you consider Ms Palin to be, this program may convince you she is even dimmer. It follows her to her husband’s fishing patch — a prime salmon lease. Sarah tells us how blessed she is, and often wears a National Rifle Association jacket. Great country. Scary lady.

Channel 7, 10.30pm

★★★★ Ethical questions, and learning to live with what has gone before, are all the go at Oceanside Wellness tonight as the man responsible for killing Dell and endangering Maya’s life checks into the clinic with a heart condition. This does not go down well with at least one practice member who, as we learn in the course of the episode, has an ethical issue from his own past to deal with. Souls are searched.
