KINECT for Xbox 360 has been hugely successful since its launch last year. What’s next for Microsoft’s controller-free gaming? Here are three titles to keep an eye on.

Fruit Ninja Kinect

From Australian studio Halfbrick, Fruit Ninja will be the first Kinect title available on Xbox Live Arcade. It’s going to be a blast, too, thanks to responsive controls, two-person gameplay and all the fruitchopping action that made Fruit Ninja a hit in the first place.

Kinect Star Wars

This title gives players the chance to wield an imaginary lightsaber and face off against iconic Star Wars enemies, from droids to rancors. It will also feature a number of vehicle sections, from pod racing and speeder bikes to battles in space.

Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster

Presented as a series of story books, Once Upon a Monster aims to teach kids by having them interact with Elmo, Cookie Monster and other characters. Many ‘‘edutainment’’ titles fall flat, but this is looking great.
