PEOPLE watch things for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes they’re negative reasons. I watch Home and Away because I can’t watch the 7pm news or whatever – that kind of thing. Sometimes they’re much flimsier.
Such as this: I’m sending you in the direction of White Collar based on the fact Tim DeKay was in Carnivale.
Nobody saw Carnivale. It was an HBO show – they only made two series, should’ve made three. It was hard and weird and sad and right up there on my list of best shows.
I’m fairly certain if you asked Tim DeKay what the greatest role of his career was, and will be, he’d say Jonesy in Carnivale. I’d never seen him in anything else before or since – until White Collar. He’s pretty good as the FBI agent Peter Burke, because clearly this guy DeKay is one hell of an actor, and he also gets to stand alongside Matt Bomer most of the time. Matt looks like a supermodel. So if Tim DeKay weren’t in this show, I’d be inclined to give White Collar a look to see Matt Bomer from various angles.
