Show’s premise a farce

Herald Sun - Switched On - - Front Page -

Contestants on The Renovators comprise those who are worthy of the title ‘‘ renovator’’ and those for whom the words ‘‘ renovating’’ and ‘‘ talent’’ are exclusive. Challenges are set to supposedly sort the wheat from the chaff. The catch is, the clueless contestant is allowed to have help— from someone who does know a horse from a hammer. The show’s premise, which is to find Australia’s most talented renovator, is a farce.
