Channel 7, Tuesday, 9.30pm ★★★★ If you were a fan of Brothers & Sisters, but haven’t discovered Parenthood, give it a go. It’s a family drama that consistently delivers a high standard of writing and performances. Key to its success are stars Peter Krause and Monica Potter and how they’ve negotiated the emotional stress of their son Max having Asperger syndrome. It’s an issue that rocks the household in tonight’s episode, which looks at Max struggling to comprehend the punishment for an altercation with another kid at school. There are more fireworks when Sarah (Lauren Graham) arrives home from a date to find her drunk exhusband Seth (John Corbett) in the garden. DD
