I amsure there are many viewers who share my annoyance with the commercial networks and their promotions of new programs. We are bombarded with promos every ad break. There are no restrictions on the frequency of these because promos are not classified as advertising. It’s bad enough that we get this saturation-type of promotion, but the networks— especially Channel 9— have the gall to also run feature stories for The Voice, The Block and Celebrity Apprentice on many of their live programs. These shows are being flogged on Today, Mornings and A Current Affair. This selfindulgence is a complete turn-off.
