CAROLINE QUENTIN: A PASSAGE THROUGH INDIA, SBS One, 7.30pm

Herald Sun - Switched On - - Friday -

SHE’S already covered 5000km in two episodes. Tonight Quentin leaves Mumbai to head to Kanyakumari, right at the bottom of India. Mysore first though. From this I take it Mysore has lots of snakes. Lots of snakes and lots of rats— hand in glove. On the itinerary is a healer who treats cancer patients from around the world. Quentin asks him about arthritis in her wrist, he gives her some bark, she gives him a musical tin of biscuits. Also on the way south are tea pickers, almost extinct, a spelling bee, elephants ... quite the travelogue.
