SAUSAGES. Even the chi-chi ones, like tonight’s ap­ple cider duck sausages with ap­ple and onion chut­ney, or the pork and fen­nel ones with spe­cial tomato sauce, or the rose­mary and lamb ones with caramelised onions, they’re still ba­si­cally mys­tery bags. And that outer coat thing they’re in doesn’t help. No­body ever re­ally knows what that cas­ing’s made of. Not even on this show. Peo­ple don’t talk about that.
