Fewer promos please
ARE there any others out there who are completely and utterly fed up with Channel 7’s constant promotions for The X Factor? While on the subject, Seven is also the major culprit in placing their promotions constantly through the ad breaks. I remember reading once that these promotions are actually considered programming as part of the broadcast rules. If this is correct, then ACMA needs to seriously rewrite the broadcast rules for TV stations. It certainly explains why actual programs are cut to the bone these days to fit in as many promos and ads as possible.
