DIANNE BUTLER OUT OF THE BOX

Herald Sun - Switched On - - Saturday - SINBAD, ABC1, 8.20pm

WELL, I’m starting to see where Sinbad gets his name from. He and the rest of the rabble on board the Providence are taken hostage by a small army of hungry children whose queen is played by Sophie Okonedo (from The Slap), who is possibly very mad. Back in Basra, Lord Akbari — whose son Sinbad accidentally killed last week— is toying with the idea of allowing Taryn to use magic so they can find Sinbad and hurt him. But the Emir, Akbari’s brother, is like, ‘‘ No way, dude, the dark arts are bad’’. Plus he hates Taryn.
