DIANNE BUTLER OUT OF THE BOX

Herald Sun - Switched On - - Weekly Preview - PAWN STARS, A&E, Foxtel, 8pm

EVERY time I watch this show, someone walks in with something from the American Civil War and demands thousands for it because it’s from the American Civil War, dammit. And they’re just about always fakes. Tonight it’s an 1860 pistol, a Colt, so Rick Harrison (pictured), the owner of the shop, decides to call in his gun guy Joe. A first-edition Spider-Man comic also comes in; it’s Spider-Man’s second appearance, from 1963. Cover price: 12c. This could be worth a lot more than some stupid gun. I swear Chumlee, who works with the Harrisons, was the model for Family Guy’s Chris.
