AT what point does ratatouille become tomato surprise? I only ask because of the whole touchy champagne/methode champenoise thing. You wouldn’t make ratatouille in 15 minutes. You could, however, make Jamie’s tomato surprise. In theory anyway. Same goes for his goulash with pork and rice. His kedgeree, however, seems great and totally doable. His chicken and quinoa salad looks lovely, though possibly pricey, plus you’ll need fresh everything so maybe leave it for a day when you can shop. And buy a commercial chopping machine while you’re at it.
