DIANNE BUTLER OUT OF THE BOX
PLEASE tell me you haven’t already made your reindeer. Technically, I think December 1 is the day for Christmas decorations to go up, but if you go by the shops any time after Easter is fair game. So you have until midnight, basically. But it couldn’t be easier. All you need is the pattern in the Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Draw the pattern on a vast sheet of ply, cut it out with your jigsaw, do a dry fit to make sure your halving joints line up, paint it. Repeat eight times. Display out the front. Unless, of course, your house is on the market.
