I DO like the look of Jamie Oliver’s pork marsala, but com­fort food Jamie? When it’s 40C? I also have some con­cerns about the price, es­pe­cially when Jamie him­self de­scribes the porcini mush­rooms as a ‘‘ lit­tle bit ex­pen­sive’’. But they are com­pul­sory for the bas­mati rice. You also need lemon and var­ie­gated lemon thyme. Good luck there. And also get­ting sage and savoy cab­bage for the pork. Look, just for­get this dish. It clearly needs to be made in win­ter. Just write down the recipe and move on to the next one, the Thai prawn salad. It’s nice and cold.
