DIANNE BUTLER OUT OF THE BOX
KIDS, back in ye olden days, cooking shows were only ever on telly in the morning. Strange but true. Another bizarre fact: Lorraine Pascale, as competent as she is, tastes nothing. She picks up a spoon as if she’s about to, then doesn’t. Today she’s doing autumn food — soup (butternut squash) and sticky pork ribs and pasta, which at least she makes herself, and strings it up on those coathangers you get from the drycleaner. You could make the Swiss roll cake. It’s easy. Chocolatey. Looks fantastic. Her peppermint creams and chocolate fudge might also come in handy.
