How to: use Twitter’s video app

Herald Sun - Switched On - - Gadgets -

TWITTER is known for its short and snappy prose, but the company is now branching out to short and snappy video. Its newest creation, Vine, has been released in an Apple iPhone app and lets users create and share six seconds of video, be it sequential or edited, that is then looped. At launch, Twitter’s product vice-president Michael Sippey explained Vine as the video version of a tweet. ‘‘Like tweets, the brevity of videos on Vine inspires creativity,’’ he wrote on the Twitter blog. ‘‘Now that you can easily capture motion and sound, we look forward to seeing what you create.’’
