Samsung, due mid-year. samsung.com/au Samsung’s last Galaxy Note device looked like a phone and acted like a tablet. This new device will look like a tablet but act like a phone. The Galaxy Note 8.0, as its name suggests, is an 8-inch tablet designed for high-powered operations. Weighing 338g and just 7.9cm thick, it is fractionally bigger than its rival Apple iPad Mini, but it features a lot more grunt thanks to a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. The larger Notewill also feature cameras front and back, an S Pen stylus for onscreen handwriting, space for a memory card, and either 16GB or 32GB of storage. But, unusually, userswill be able to make phone calls from this tablet, making video calls easy even when outsidewi-fi range.
