ASUS, due midyear. As both a tablet and a phone, ASUS has created a new category with its PadFone. Now, the PadFone Infinity is offering both a bigger, better screen and more powerful hardware. The smartphone at the centre of the PadFone is a five-inch Google Android device that uses a 1.7GHz quad-core chip and a speedy 4G mobile internet connection, and offers 64GB storage as well as a 13-megapixel rear camera. It docks into and runs a tablet body, the PadFone Infinity Station, with apps being resized to fit its 10.1-inch screen. The extra power, full highdefinition phone screen and attraction of having one internet connection for two gadgets could make it a hit.
