Beretta was in full train­ing mode last week, ris­ing at 5am each day to ride along­side fel­low Grand Prix celebrity race drivers and Olympic gold medal­lists Sir Chris Hoy and Anna Meares.

Beretta is part of a Tour de Cure/Iron­man Asia Pa­cific ‘‘ dream team’’.

Aus­tralia’s cham­pion marathon swim­mer Chloe McCardel will swim 3.8km, Beretta will ride 180km, and iron­man Cal­lum Eade, a can­cer sur­vivor, will travel from Sin­ga­pore to an­chor the team to run 42.2km. Sun­rise, Chan­nel 7, week­days, 6am
