Samsung, $349, samsung.com/au ★★★ It’s more common to share photos than to print them, so Samsung’s new internet-friendly approach to photography makes a lot of sense. The Smart Camera WB250F comes with built-in wi-fi connectivity and two ways to share photos directly from the camera. One involves downloading the Samsung Smart Camera app to your phone and transferring photos to it while the other lets you share photos from your memory card to Facebook, SkyDrive, Picasa, an email account or to a Wi-Di device. This camera offers an 18x zoom (24-432mm), 14-megapixels and a three-inch touchscreen. Unfortunately, the screen is not as sharp as most, its 3200 ISO is noisy and its optical image stabilisation spotty.
