NO NEED TO PLAY DUMB Watching a BBC documentary shows how dumbed down most Australian programs have become. We find it necessary to have some jokey/quirky host spouting useless information. Australian producers are afraid to televise anything that might require actual thought on the part of the viewers. The BBC treat their audience with respect, while we just cater to the thick. GETTING A MENTAL BLOCK
What’s with the commercial stations putting on promos for The Block or I’m A Celebrity for the next night’s show when you’re still watching that night’s episode? Confusing.
