Streaming service Presto’s decision to put out the Charles Manson crime drama Aquarius for binge-watching at the same time NBC does so in the USA is a bold statement. Set in the 1960s, Aquarius stars David Duchovny, in his return to television, as a cop tracking self-styled guru and death cult leader Charles Manson. Aquarius will go first to Presto TV and Presto Entertainment on Friday, the same day it is released in the US, with an exclusive and special Age of Aquarius binge offering of all 13 episodes for the first 28 days. Presto will continue to screen each episode of Aquarius as it is broadcast in the US and will keep all episodes available following the season’s conclusion. It is also expected to screen on Channel Seven later this year.
