RAY’S JOCKS BRING A TWIST TO NEW SHOW

Herald Sun - Switched On - - COVER STORY - ANNA BRAIN NATIONAL TV WRITER

If Ray Martin is trying to buy undies, DO NOT get in his way. That’s just one of the lessons learned when the legendary journo appears on Paul McDermott’s new chat show, Room 101.

Guests are invited to share their greatest fears or pet hates, and McDermott then decides if they are worthy of being banished to Room 101 (named after the place in George Orwell’s landmark novel 1984).

Apart from jocks-shopping, Martin also airs a longheld grievance against the Aussie flag, which McDermott obligingly tears up.

“There’s so much comedy in the

things that annoy us, the tiniest things”
