Samsung is going where it never has before with this device: into your bed. The SleepSense is a curious device that looks like a Sony Discman but promises to monitor your vital signs while you sleep, from pulse and respiration rate, to the time it took you to fall asleep, how many times you woke, and how much rapid-eye movement sleep you enjoyed. SleepSense sits under your mattress. It can also connect to other internet-savvy devices, such as airconditioners, televisions and coffee machines, to automate tasks such as turning the screen off when you fall asleep in front of the TV.
