This student-friendly laptop has fascinating priorities, offering a mix of cutting-edge features and budget hardware. ASUS has clearly invested well in the 11.6-inch touchscreen of this 1.2kg computer, as it’s clear from an angle and offers a 135ppi resolution. Its 360degree hinge is also useful, letting the screen flip over on itself, and it’s one of the first Windows 10 computers to offer a versatile USB Type-C port. On the budget side, it uses 2GB RAM and a dual-core Intel Celeron chip, offers only 12GB of available storage as well as a 32GB memory card, and it charges with a proprietary cord.
