Duo loud and clear about friend­ship

Tele­vi­sion’s big­gest bro­mance is back on track with the re­union of small screen vet Dr Chris Brown and fiery Span­ish chef Miguel Maestre.

The best mates and The Liv­ing Room co-hosts missed their reg­u­lar ban­ter while Brown was host­ing I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! for two months.

But now Brown’s back and this week the colour­ful duo are off on the sec­ond leg of their two-week road trip in a mo­torhome.

“I’m not go­ing to lie — the ex­pe­ri­ence of be­ing in a con­fined space with Miguel was kind of like some test of our friend­ship that was ei­ther go­ing to make or break it,” Brown says.

“A cou­ple of times, it looked like it was go­ing to break.

“Luck­ily, we’re still very good mates.”

The ad­ven­ture took in scenic parts of Vic­to­ria and Tas­ma­nia, in­clud­ing the Great Ocean Road.

It was while mo­sey­ing along the pic­turesque stretch of high­way that Brown and Maestre ran into cy­cling leg­end Cadel Evans.
