DOG & BONE

Herald Sun - Switched On - - GADGETS & GAMES -

This heavy duty padlock throws away the key and instead uses a smartphone connection. Created by Brisbane firm Dog & Bone, the LockSmart connects wirelessly to Google or Apple-based smartphones via an app, and lets users unlock it with the tap of an icon. New users can be approved in the app, its use monitored, and you can require a PIN or fingerprint for added security. The lock turns off after inactivity, ensuring its rechargeable battery lasts up to two years.
