Kensington’s lock is designed to attach ultrabooks and tablet computers to a table. You insert the cleat into the Kensington security slot on your device, with the cable designed so its push-button lock is kept away from the device. If you’re in a cafe or hunkered down at an airport, spending a few seconds to lock your device to a table or chair could prevent a snatchand-grab. If your device doesn’t have a Kensington security slot, you can use an adaptor.
