In­spired by its 1963 name­sake, this is for pho­tog­ra­phers who want ex­tra fea­tures in a tra­di­tional form. It has a viewfinder on its far left cor­ner, and a “cre­ative” dial on its front that switches dig­i­tal fil­ters. A black-and-white op­tion adds digi­tised grain to give shots a faux old­world look. The PEN-F uses a 20-megapixel sen­sor, but a high-res­o­lu­tion mode bumps that to 50 megapix­els, and its 81-point aut­o­fo­cus sys­tem en­sures a wide field of se­lec­tions.
