FINALE ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU FREAK OUT

Herald Sun - Switched On - - ON THE COUCH -

If you thought Joan “The Freak” Ferguson murdering Bea’s lesbian lover Allie last night was bad, just wait until you see the finale.

Actor Pamela Rabe (below) says fans will go into “shock”.

“It’s right up there (with our most shocking episodes), and I think fans will know that every one of the series goes out with a bang and this is no exception,” Rabe says.

Foxtel announced today the series has officially been renewed for season five.

Rabe drops the tantalising hint that Allie’s death by hot shot in last night’s episode may not be entirely what it seems.

“Even that statement you made (about Allie being dead), do not be too sure,” she says.

“I think you can always rely on Wentworth to deliver the unexpected.

“They plant the seed for things that you don’t see coming and when you do you go, ‘Oh, of course.’

The Freak has many fans. “They feel protective of her, they feel she’s misunderstood, they’re delighted by her outrageous behaviour and a little shocked,” she explains.
