Cameras which record all around you — the full 360 degrees — are increasing in number but few let you capture it as sharply as this model. The second version of the 360fly camera still looks like a prism-covered golf ball but this version captures ultra highdefinition footage to make videos look convincing in a virtual reality headset. An added strength of this 360-degree camera is the way it works with a smartphone app to let you change settings, edit footage, guide the viewer’s gaze, or steal 12-megapixel photos from video. It comes with 64GB storage for up to two hours of video, but its battery only lasts 90 minutes.
